Here are some tips and tricks to refresh your floors!

Vinyl
- Use a gentle cleaning solution like a vinegar and water solution to restore shine.
- Clean vinyl plank flooring with soft bristle brooms, microfiber mops, and vacuums designed for hardwood floors to prevent damage.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and wax-based products that can harm protective coating and lead to dullness.
- Refrain from over-wetting or pouring water on the floor to prevent moisture damage.
Laminate
- Use a gentle cleaning solution like a vinegar and water solution to restore shine.
- Use a laminate floor repair kit for minor repairs.
- Find a gentle cleaner to clear up hazy floors.
- Be proactive to avoid any damage (clean spills right away, use furniture covers when moving furniture)
Hardwood
- Develop a thorough cleaning routine.
- Occasionally deep clean the floors.
- Apply a thin layer of wax can rejuvenate the shine in your wood floors.

Tile

Carpet

- Find a gentle carpet cleaner to help clean up and remove and stains that may occur.
- Trim snags carefully. If your carpet happens to snag, make sure not to pull it. Instead get a pair of nail scissors and trim the snag to prevent further damage.
- Brighten faded carpet by rubbing them own with a rag that has been soaked in salt water and then wrung out.
